Sam Burton
Throughout the latter half of the 2010s, singer/songwriter Sam Burton's ambling, melancholy reflections earned him cache in the D.I.Y. cassette world, eventually leading to a deal with respected West Coast indie Tompkins Square, which released the full-length I Can Go with You in 2020. A Salt Lake City native, Burton illicitly taught himself to play guitar as a teenager, sneaking practice sessions on his stepfather's off-limits guitar. Inspired by the Beach Boys and Velvet Underground
